Site Reliability Engineering Lead

Software Engineering & SRE Lead Location: Warsaw, Poland Contract: 6 months - Extendable Work Mode: Onsite Role Overview We are looking for a Software Engineering & Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Lead to lead software engineering, DevOps, test automation, and reliability initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable and resilient solutions while driving engineering excellence and operational reliability. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, testing and deployment of enterprise software solutions.Own end-to-end SDLC activities from requirements through production support.Design and implement automated testing frameworks and quality strategies.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing and deployment.Apply SRE principles to improve system reliability, scalability, availability and performance.Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.Implement observability across monitoring, logging, alerting and performance management.Lead incident management, troubleshooting, RCA and post-incident reviews.Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security and operations teams.Drive continuous improvement in engineering and operational processes.Mentor engineering teams on software engineering, DevOps, test automation and SRE best practices. Mandatory Skills 6–8 years of experience in Software Engineering / DevOps / SRE.Strong experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud (GCP).Hands-on Terraform experience.Strong knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.Solid understanding of SRE principles, SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.Experience with test automation and automated quality practices.Strong SDLC and software engineering fundamentals.Experience with monitoring, logging and observability.Strong incident management and root-cause analysis experience.Leadership and mentoring experience.
