Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain business-critical software applications and AI-enabled solutions that support Engineering, Operations, and other business functionsCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, Engineering, Operations, IT, and the AI & Innovation team to identify opportunities for digitalization, automation, and AI adoptionTranslate business requirements into solution concepts, user stories, technical specifications, and AI use casesModernize and enhance existing applications and platforms by leveraging cloud technologies, automation, and AI capabilities where appropriateEnsure software and AI solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, user-centric, and aligned with enterprise architecture and software standardsContribute throughout the entire solution lifecycle, from concept and design through development, deployment, operation, and continuous improvementDevelop and support integrations between enterprise systems, including ERP, PLM, engineering tools, manufacturing systems, cloud services, and AI platformsUtilize Azure cloud services and AI technologies to deliver innovative solutions and support the deployment and operation of cloud-native applicationsImplement AI-assisted automation, intelligent workflows, and decision-support capabilities in collaboration with AI specialists and business stakeholdersWork closely with global software development teams to ensure the successful delivery of software and AI solutions and that business requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Informatics, Mechanical Engineering with a software focus, or a related field3–8 years of experience in software development, solution engineering, or software-based digitalization initiativesExperience working directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutionsExperience delivering enterprise software solutions and system integrations.Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments is advantageousStrong software engineering background with practical experience in C#, .NET, Python, SQL, web technologies, API-based integrations, and modern application developmentSolid understanding of enterprise software architecture, database technologies, application security, and cloud-native design principlesExperience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and modern DevOps/CI/CD practicesExperience developing, integrating, or deploying AI-enabled applications and automation solutions, with familiarity in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI services, or AI development frameworks considered highly desirableFamiliarity with graph databases is considered an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvement, automation, and AI application opportunities within engineering and operational workflows
