Senior DevOps Engineer

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team to support the further development and maintenance of our development environments and development-related IT infrastructure. In this role, you will establish the foundation for efficient software development and seamless collaboration across team boundaries. Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Linux-based systems and environmentsOperate and support cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, from containerized workloads to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Deploy, configure, and maintain web servers and related services within cloud environmentsApply a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, particularly application-layer protocols such as HTTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, TFTP, and related technologiesDesign, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and GitLabBuild and optimize Jenkins and GitLab pipelines to support reliable, efficient software deliveryProvision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with TerraformAutomate configuration and system management using AnsibleDevelop scripts and automation solutions using Python and BashSupport the end-to-end software development lifecycle by providing and maintaining effective DevOps processes, tools, and practicesManage source code and version control using Git, including GitLab and GitHubImplement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Grafana and PrometheusCollaborate closely with development and other technical teams to improve system reliability, automation, deployment processes, and overall engineering efficiency Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a DevOps EngineerStrong hands-on experience with Linux administration and troubleshootingSolid experience with Microsoft Azure, including containerized environments and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Good understanding of networking concepts and application-layer protocols, including HTTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, TFTP, and related technologiesStrong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLabPractical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly TerraformHands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automationProficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasksStrong knowledge of Git and experience working with GitLab and/or GitHubExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and PrometheusIndependent, structured, and solution-oriented way of workingStrong communication skills and experience working in agile teamsProficiency in written and spoken English, German is an advantage.
