Independently own and navigate a large backend ecosystem consisting of multiple services with minimal ramp-up supportDevelop and maintain backend services using GolangWrite clean, scalable, and maintainable code while actively participating in code reviews and technical discussionsAnalyze legacy and unreviewed code to identify technical debt, systemic issues, and architectural risksProactively identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement, proposing and implementing solutionsCollaborate with engineering and product teams to define technical objectives and execute roadmap initiativesAdvocate for architectural improvements and negotiate technical decisions with peer engineering teamsContribute to long-term platform evolution while balancing short-term business prioritiesEnsure reliability and performance of high-load production systems
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial software development experienceStrong proficiency in GolangStrong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and system designExperience across the full software development lifecycle, from planning and objective-setting to delivery and supportProven experience working with high-load, high-traffic production systemsSolid understanding of scalable and maintainable backend architecture principlesAbility to independently work with large and unfamiliar codebasesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues before escalationExperience aligning technical solutions with business and customer needsAbility to effectively communicate and negotiate technical direction with engineering stakeholdersUpper-Intermediate English level
