Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Description What is the Opportunity? Are you passionate about driving innovation in application development and streamlining the software delivery lifecycle? As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring that our applications are built, tested, and deployed with speed, reliability, and compliance to the Enterprise security standards. You will lead efforts to enhance developer productivity, optimize build pipelines, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across the application development lifecycle. What will you do? Lead the design and development of key features for the enterprise DevOps (CI/CD) pipelineConsult with partner systems to develop integration strategies revolving around DevOps best practicesConsult with Enterprise Architecture and Governance teams to review solution designs to ensure best practices are adhered toEnable AI Capabilities to increase Developer ProductivityWork with product owners and key stakeholders to develop high value features that benefit the RBC Developer communityMaintain the CI/CD pipeline: security and vulnerability management, capacity management, deployment and scaling strategies, performance and uptime, infrastructure hygieneProvide estimates on feature delivery, identify and determine delivery risks on key identify, and contribute to quarterly product road map planningLead the developer community SIG discussions and bring in key features to the backlogProvide L3 Support on a rotational basis both on and off hours as on-call escalation contactReview contributions from the Developer community and approve PRs What do you need to Succeed? Must-Have Minimum 5 years developer experienceDeep understanding of DevOps Principles and best practices for CI/CD, including designing at an Enterprise scaleExperience with DevOps tools, platforms, and interfaces: Github, Github Actions, JFrog Artifactory, HashiCorp Vault, AnsibleProficient with Typescript, Java, Python, YAML, NPM, Maven, Gradle, DockerExperience with deploying to cloud platforms: OCP, Azure, AWS Nice-to-Have Experience with Quality Engineering Automation ToolsExperience with Application Security Tools for SAST, SCA, Container Image Scanning ToolsDevelopment and support of applications hosted on Cloud platformsExperience with Networking conceptsExperience with SecOps What’s in it for you?
