Description

Mission: Keep the Snowflake platform secure, reliable, performant, and cost-controlled day to day. Key responsibilities: Administer warehouses, resource monitors, and account-level configuration and parameters. Manage security and access: RBAC role hierarchy, user and service-account provisioning, network policies, and SSO/SCIM integration. Monitor consumption and compute, set budgets and alerts, and drive continuous cost optimization. Own DevOps practices: infrastructure-as-code, automated deployments, and environment management. Implement platform observability — logging, monitoring, and alerting — and lead incident response and root-cause analysis. Manage backup/recovery (Time Travel, replication, failover) and support business-continuity requirements. Qualifications: 3+ years in platform/DevOps or database administration; experience with cloud infrastructure, IaC (e.g., Terraform, Snowflake provider), and CI/CDSolid understanding of security and governance controls; on-call/incident-management experience a plus.
