Description
The position of DevOps Engineer has the primary purpose of providing reliable platforms for running, building, deploying, and maintaining software and applications that support business processes.

Essential Functions:
Builds and maintains CI/CD processes for in-house developed applications Perform root cause analysis of production issues Work with the development team to architect scalable and maintainable solutions Automate manual IT processes Maintain documentation for servers/solutions in use Maintain source control software Provide support to developers Special assignments requested by Technical Leadership
Qualification/Requirements:
Working knowledge of administering public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)Working knowledge of databases and SQL Good knowledge of a scripting language (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.) Experience with a configuration management solution (Ansible, Puppet, Salt, etc.) Experience with a container orchestration platform (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.) Experience managing Windows and GNU/Linux systems Effective communication, creativity, problem solving, and logical thinking are all necessary skills.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
