We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer II – Platform to join our FinTech Engineering team. In this role, you’ll design, develop, test, and enhance applications using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and product teams to turn business requirements into reliable, secure, and high-quality software that supports financial technology solutions. What You'll Do 💻 Design & Development Design, develop, test, and maintain features for our FinTech platform using Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x.Build clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party services.Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to application architecture.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.🤝 Collaboration Work closely with senior engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams.Translate business requirements into technical designs and production-ready features.Participate in code reviews and share development best practices.Contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing engineering culture.🧪 Quality & Testing Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests.Use automated testing practices to maintain application quality and stability.Identify and resolve defects and performance issues.Contribute to continuous improvements in development and testing processes.☁️ Cloud & DevOps Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.Utilize tools such as SonarQube to improve code quality and maintainability.🔐 Security & FinTech Follow secure software development practices and help identify potential vulnerabilities.Build applications that meet applicable security and regulatory requirements.Gain exposure to payment systems, transaction processing, and FinTech security.Support compliance with standards such as PCI-DSS. What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2–4 years of professional experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x.Strong experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and PITest.Experience with SonarQube and code-quality practices.Experience working in an Agile development environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. ⭐ Nice to Have Experience with Jenkins and Kubernetes.Exposure to React or other front-end technologies.FinTech or payments industry experience.Understanding of payment processing and transaction systems.Knowledge of PCI-DSS and data-security practices.
