Drive meaningful change As our new Software Integration Developer, you will develop and maintain backend applications, APIs, and integration services that support critical processes across Abacus Medicine Group. Working with Microsoft Azure and the .NET ecosystem, you will design solutions that enable reliable communication between systems and applications. You will also contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions, combining hands-on development with a broader view of our system landscape. Your Main Responsibilities Include Developing and maintaining backend applications, APIs, and integration servicesDesigning secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with our platform architecture and integration standardsBuilding and supporting APIs that enable reliable communication between systems and business applicationsDeveloping reusable backend services and integration componentsWorking with databases and cloud-native services to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrityParticipating in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisionsCollaborating with developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutionsMonitoring, troubleshooting, and continuously improving business-critical applications and integrationsContributing to development standards, shared technical assets, and best practicesSupporting knowledge sharing and mentoring less experienced colleagues Our Technology Landscape Includes Backend: .NET, C#, SQL, and Cosmos DBIntegration: REST APIs, SOAP, Azure Service Bus, API Management, and Logic AppsCloud: Microsoft Azure, including App Services and Function AppsSecurity: OAuth2 and JWTDevOps: Azure DevOps CI/CD and ARM Templates/BicepMethodology: Agile Your Profile You have a strong background in backend and integration development, combining hands-on technical expertise with an architectural mindset. You translate business requirements into robust solutions, collaborate effectively across technical and business teams, and take a structured, proactive approach to improving systems and ways of working. We Imagine You Have A Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldApproximately 5 years of experience developing backend applications, APIs, and integrationsSolid experience with .NET, C#, SQL, and Microsoft AzureExperience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure backend solutions in cloud environmentsExperience with Azure services such as App Services, Function Apps, Logic Apps, API Management, and Service BusExperience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling, preferably Azure DevOpsFamiliarity with integration patterns, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and microservicesStrong communication skills and professional proficiency in English Be part of an international community of people who care You will join our growing Integrations & Power Platform team, with developers based in Denmark, the Netherlands, and Hungary. The team develops and maintains integrations, backend services, and business-critical platforms across the organisation. You will collaborate with Digital Application teams, Operations, QA, business stakeholders, and external software vendors and technology partners.
