Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary: As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll build the future of our fundraiser management platform. As we transition to an engineering-focused organization, you will work to deliver scalable production-ready code for new and existing features. We are seeking Senior Software Engineers who are passionate about building high availability, scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems with emerging technologies. This individual will deliver product changes within each sprint. This role is hybrid in Atlanta GA- 5300 Triangle Pkway, Peachtree Corners location Key Responsibilities: Collaborate to deliver high-quality, high-throughput softwareLearn to implement scalable and resilient solutions using a variety of technologiesBe hands-on to to design, develop, test, and deliver softwareProvide Consultation in meetings, code reviews, and refactoring effortsPartner with leadership to ensure operational success of your projectDrive to improve designs, processes, and products by reducing cost and improving efficiency and quality Minimum Qualifications: Expert proficiency with one or more of the following technologies: Javascript (Node.js), Javascript (React), PHP, relational databases (MySQL/Postgres), NoSQL document storesPrior experience authoring technical documentation and requirementsFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) and the ability to evaluate, integrate, and critically review AI-generated codePrior experience transitioning from monolithic applications into distributed architectureExperience with asynchronous programmingPrior experience writing unit testsExpert working knowledge of software design patterns and standards, API interactions, and the software development life cycleDegree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experienceA collaborative, positive attitude and strong sense of ownership Bonus Qualifications: Proficiency working with AWS or other cloud servicesExperience with event-driven technologies like Apache KafkaFamiliarity with some/all of our tools: GraphQL, Gitlab, Atlassian Suite, Heap, Split.io, DatadogExperience creating and improving cloud-based infrastructureMaster's degree or further education or experience in engineering, computer science or other technical related field Other terms: Laravel, MVC, cloud technologies, serverless architecture, Amazon Web Services, docker, kubernetes, microservices, rest api development location: Norcross, Georgia job type: Permanent work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities: As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll build the future of our fundraiser management platform.
