GHGSat offers greenhouse gas detection, measurement, and monitoring services to industrial and government customers around the world.
We use our own satellites and aircraft sensors, combined with third-party data, to help industrial emitters better understand, control, and reduce their emissions.
GHGSat's capability is unique: we provide high-resolution, local measurements of atmospheric methane and carbon dioxide concentration from space.
This further enables us to detect greenhouse gas emitters and to visualize and quantify their emissions.

Responsibilities
Participate in the full application lifecycle, with a focus on developing features and delivering value to usersDevelop, test, integrate, and deploy backend and API stacksMaintain and ensure the high availability of GHGSat web services, both externally and internallyCollaborate with developers, designers, QA, and Product Owners to identify and shape new features
Requirements
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experienceA proven track record of building and shipping scalable web applications that drive user valueStrong experience with PythonExperience designing and implementing services in the cloud (AWS)Experience deploying containerized applications with Docker and/or KubernetesExperience with databases and ETL systems (PostgreSQL)A test-driven development mindset, with solid CI/CD and documentation practices
