Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Drupal Developer to join the development team building a new e-commerce platform (eShop) dedicated to numismatic products.
Built on Drupal 11 / PHP 8.3 and hosted on Pantheon Cloud, the platform integrates with an internal ERP system and features a multi-tiered theme architecture (parent design system + child theme) based on Figma designs.
Operating under the guidance of the Tech Lead, you will be responsible for pixel-perfect front-end integration of Figma designs into Drupal templates, enriching the design system, and ensuring high standards of accessibility, performance, and multilingual compatibility (FR/EN/DE).
Key Responsibilities
Template Integration & Design System:Integrate Figma designs into Drupal templates (catalog pages, product sheets, checkout tunnel, customer accounts, editorial content).Develop reusable design system components, maintain cross-page visual consistency, and document components.Front-End Development & UI Interactions:Implement modern CSS (Tailwind) and vanilla JavaScript for dynamic page interactions, sliders/carousels, galleries, form behaviors, and state displays (loading/error).Build responsive, mobile-first layouts with cross-browser compatibility.Accessibility & Performance Optimization:Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility.Optimize front-end performance, image loading, and Core Web Vitals.Team Collaboration & Delivery:Collaborate with back-end developers to connect templates with live ERP/catalog data.Participate in code reviews, merge request workflows, and team ceremonies (dailies, sprint reviews).Deliver multilingual-compatible templates (FR/EN/DE) and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal staff.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Drupal theming (Drupal 8, 9, 10, or 11).Proven experience integrating Figma (or equivalent design tool) wireframes with pixel-perfect accuracy.Demonstrated track record working with Git in collaborative team settings (merge requests, code reviews, rebasing).Language Qualifications:French: Native or bilingual proficiency (primary working language).English: Professional working proficiency (technical documentation).Soft Skills & Work Ethic:High attention to detail with a commitment to design fidelity.Strong autonomy, rigor, and security awareness required for regulated institutional environments.Clear communication skills across back-end engineering and UI/UX design streams.

Mandatory Technical Skills (Must-Have)
Drupal Theming Engine: Advanced proficiency in Twig, preprocess functions, libraries, render arrays, and theme systems.Modern CSS & Layouts: CSS architecture, Flexbox, CSS Grid, mobile-first responsive design, and CSS animations.JavaScript: Strong Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+) without reliance on external JS frameworks.Web Accessibility: WCAG 2.2 standards, HTML5 semantics, keyboard navigation, screen readers.Version Control: Git (branching, merge requests, rebase workflows).
