Site Reliability Engineer | OpenShift, Kubernetes, IaC | Hybrid Cloud | Utrecht | in-house [€100K] [Energy / Critical Infrastructure] Do you want to build stable and scalable OpenShift platforms that are used daily by multiple in-house teams? And does it sound interesting to be involved from the design phase, while also supporting developers once the platform is live? My client is one of the largest Managed Services providers in the Netherlands. Within the Platform Services team, you will work as an OpenShift Engineer on improving, expanding, and – where needed – implementing new platform environments. As SRE, you own the stability and automation layer beneath the software teams. You'll design and maintain monitoring and alerting pipelines, manage container workloads on Kubernetes or OpenShift, build and extend CI/CD pipelines using Terraform or Ansible, and work across cloud (Azure or AWS) to harden security and compliance posture. When incidents hit, you're in the room — root cause analysis, automated recovery scripting, and permanent fixes. Responsibilities Maintaining all existing OpenShift platforms (5 clusters)Continuously developing new features, with a focus on monitoring and securityExpanding and improving Infrastructure as Code pipelinesSupporting development teams in using the platform Your profile 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenShift and/or KubernetesCI/CD pipeline experience with IaC tooling: Terraform, Ansible, or PuppetAzure DevOps experience is a plusDutch fluency or willingness to work in a Dutch-language environmentProactive, service-oriented, and comfortable working in an Agile environment The benefits A salary up to €100K annually, permanent contract, hybrid working setup, bonus scheme, and a lease car or full public transport reimbursement.
