Cloud DevOps Lead

"Looking for candidates with 5-8 years exp DevOps Engineer (Terraform + Python) Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure. • Automate infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and operational processes using Python scripting. • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated application and infrastructure deployments. • Develop reusable Terraform modules, templates, and standards to ensure consistency and scalability across environments. • Manage cloud resources across development, testing, staging, and production environments. • Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization solutions. • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and automation issues in a timely manner. • Collaborate with development, security, networking, and operations teams to deliver reliable and secure cloud solutions. • Perform code reviews for Terraform modules and automation scripts to ensure quality and compliance with organizational standards. • Implement and enforce DevOps best practices, including version control, automated testing, and release management. • Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure architecture, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks. • Support cloud migration, modernization, and platform engineering initiatives. • Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery requirements are incorporated into infrastructure designs. • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities. Mandatory Skills • Strong expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Proficiency in Python scripting for automation, integration, and operational tasks. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar. • Strong understanding of Git-based version control and branching strategies. • Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting. • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and cloud architecture principles. Good-to-Have Skills • Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, including: o Users, Groups, Roles, and Policies o Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) o Least Privilege Access Model o Service Accounts and Access Keys o Authentication and Authorization mechanisms "
