Role Summary As a Web Engineer, you will join an agile engineering team responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining web-based banking solutions for ING entities around the world. You'll work with modern frontend technologies and contribute to products that support customers in their daily financial lives. This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior-level engineer who combines strong technical expertise with collaboration, innovation, and a customer-first mindset. What You'll Be Doing Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications and banking featuresDeliver scalable, secure, and maintainable code that meets business and customer needsParticipate in code reviews and champion engineering best practicesCollaborate closely with engineers, product owners, designers, and stakeholders across multiple countriesTake ownership of systems and services in production environmentsIdentify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and developer experienceContribute to technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport and mentor fellow engineers while helping strengthen our engineering cultureReduce technical debt and help modernize existing solutions through innovative approaches About the Team You'll become part of ING Hubs Philippines, an international hub supporting business units across the ING organization.
