About the Role
We are looking for a Medior SAS Developer in Brno to join an Automated Business Solutions team responsible for developing and maintaining data processing and automation solutions that support critical business operations.
In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and optimizing SAS-based automation solutions that process large volumes of data and generate business-critical outputs.
You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve existing processes.
This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys data processing, automation, problem solving, and business-focused application development within a structured enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements through stakeholder meetings and workshops.Design, develop, and maintain SAS solutions for data transformation and automation.Process large data sets and generate Excel-based outputs for business operations.Create and optimize queries, reports, and automated workflows.Integrate SAS solutions with other internal systems and services.Modernize legacy solutions and migrate existing processes from VBA, Excel Power Query, or similar technologies to SAS.Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.Collaborate with business users during testing, deployment, and implementation activities.Document solutions, development standards, and operational procedures.Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and code quality.
