We’re hiring: Software Developer – Ground-Based Aviation Systems We are SPEEL PRAHA s.r.o., a stable Czech company with more than 30 years of experience in developing and manufacturing components for: airborne flight data recording and monitoring systems for aircraft and helicoptershead-up display systems for the L-39 aircraft familyelectronic tachographsWe are looking for a new colleague to join our R&D team as a Software Developer for Ground-Based Aviation Systems. What you will work onYou will develop software used for flight planning and for the analysis and visualisation of flight data. Your code will become part of a software suite that we have been continuously developing for more than 30 years. You will also work closely with our avionics development team on internal tools and applications that are essential to our daily work. What we are looking for✅ Secondary education or higher ✅ Knowledge of Pascal and Delphi, or Microsoft C++ ✅ Experience with 3D programming using DirectX or OpenGL, ideally DirectX 12 ✅ Technical English ✅ Willingness to learn and develop new skills Experience in any of the following areas is an advantage: • Low-level programming, assembler and Windows API • Data processing and databases • Geographic information systems • Independent problem-solving and improving existing internal tools Additional advantages include knowledge of data communication technologies such as USB, CAN, Ethernet, RS-232, RS-422 and ARINC 429, pilot experience, and willingness to travel occasionally for software implementation at customer sites.
