You will work across a mature codebase and new development, contributing to systems that model real-world rail operations with physical and spatial accuracy. Key Responsibilities Develop and extend railroad simulation applications used for both training environments and operational analytics.Improve and modernize legacy systems while contributing to new feature development.Collaborate with a distributed team across the US, Canada, and internationally to design, build, and ship software.Apply mathematics, spatial geometry, and physics to model realistic rail behavior and environments.Communicate technical concepts clearly across engineering, product, and customer-facing contexts. Required Technical Skills Core stack β€” C#/.NET, C++, and Unity:Additional β€” Mathematics, spatial geometry, physics, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applied to simulation work.Additional β€” Python for supporting tooling and analysis.Additional β€” Comfort working with AI software development tools.
