Role Description The PHP Laravel Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Remote, OR. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework, ensuring clean, secure, and efficient code. The developer will work closely with business consultants and technical architects to translate requirements into technical solutions, integrate third-party APIs, and optimize application performance. Daily responsibilities include debugging and resolving issues, participating in code reviews, collaborating in agile development processes, and documenting technical specifications. The role also includes maintaining version control practices, contributing to continuous improvement of development standards, and supporting deployment activities. Qualifications Strong proficiency in PHP and hands-on experience with the Laravel framework, including MVC architecture and RESTful API development.Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks or libraries.Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), query optimization, and database schema design.Proficiency with version control tools (e.g., Git), code review practices, and collaborative development workflows.Understanding of secure coding practices, authentication and authorization mechanisms, and API integration.Ability to analyze business requirements, write clear technical documentation, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.Exposure to cloud platforms, deployment pipelines, or DevOps practices is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Prior experience working in consulting or multi-industry project environments is beneficial.
