Description
Hi, I am Ard Raemakers here at GoodHabitz and I am hiring a Webflow Developer for our newly structured Marketing team!
About this role:
The Webflow Developer owns the end-to-end build, maintenance and structure of the GoodHabitz website in Webflow, working closely with the Website Platform Owner, Digital Experience Specialist and the wider digital experience team.
This role cares as much about what's under the hood as what's on screen β building clean, well-structured pages that load fast and stay healthy over time.
Role responsibilities:
Own the Webflow build.
Take end-to-end ownership of the build, maintenance and site structure, in alignment with the Website Platform Owner who holds overall responsibility for site performance.
Keep the project clean.
Maintain a tidy Webflow project β caring about structure, class naming and component choices, and how they affect performance and long-term maintainability.
Bring pages to life.
Extend Webflow with custom JavaScript/CSS for interactions, animations and functionality beyond native features.
Build from briefs.
Turn marketing briefs from Performance Media, Demand Gen and Brand & Content into pages and site sections.
Monitor performance.
Track site speed and technical SEO, applying performance best practices from the start and addressing issues as they arise.
Use AI and automation.
Use tools like Claude and Make.com to speed up build, QA and maintenance work.
Take ownership of quality.
Proactively flag technical debt, bugs and issues rather than waiting for direction.
Consider how development and design choices affect crawlability β including for AI crawlers β and advocate for performance in design discussions.
This role is for you if you have:
Hands-on production experience in Webflow specifically (not just general CMS or web development) Strong custom JavaScript and CSS skills β comfortable building beyond Webflow's native toolset Strong grasp of HTML5 semantic markup, structuring content to be meaningful to both browsers and crawlers Experience with multilingual website builds and how localisation affects CMS structure and page architecture Solid understanding of technical SEO and how build choices affect crawlability and search performance Experience with animation libraries (e.g.
GSAP) for smooth, performant motion Experience working directly from marketing briefs, not just specs from a lead developer Figma fluency β able to work from design files and translate them into pixel-accurate builds
This role is not for you if:
You'd rather execute tickets than set technical standards β this role means owning quality and direction, not waiting for direction You prefer waiting to be told about issues rather than proactively flagging technical debt and bugs You're looking for a purely visual design role β this one requires equal care for what's under the hood: structure, performance and maintainability You'd rather work from fixed specs than engage directly with marketing stakeholders and briefs
