DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and play a key role in building, automating, and maintaining reliable and scalable infrastructure and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, monitoring, and automation, together with a solid understanding of modern software development and operational practices. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure.Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Work closely with development teams to improve application delivery, reliability, and operational efficiency.Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues.Support incident management and perform root-cause analysis for recurring problems.Implement security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and deployment pipelines.Manage configuration, secrets, certificates, and access controls.Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.Participate in infrastructure design, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.Maintain technical documentation covering infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.Support development, testing, staging, and production environments.Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation, scalability, performance, and system reliability.Requirements3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.Experience with Git and modern source control practices.Scripting experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar.Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions.Understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and access control.Good understanding of microservices and distributed application architectures.Experience troubleshooting complex production environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good command of English, both written and spoken.Nice to HaveExperience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, VPC, and IAM.Experience with Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, Virtual Machines, Azure Monitor, and Azure Networking.Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Argo CD.Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, or similar observability platforms.Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.Knowledge of security scanning and DevSecOps practices.Experience with GitOps methodologies.Understanding of high-availability and disaster-recovery concepts.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Personal SkillsStrong ownership and sense of responsibility.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Proactive approach to identifying and preventing operational issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Comfortable working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
