About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for our simulation software across multiple generations.
Your expertise will drive the continuous improvement of our firm’s monitoring tools and support the implementation and advancement of virtualization and automation solutions.
Ensuring the smooth operation, availability, and ongoing development of internal IT systems and tools is a core part of your responsibilities.
You will define system requirements, develop architectures and designs, and ensure the scalability and stability of our platforms.
Additionally, you have the opportunity to lead a team of 7 to 9 professionals, fostering their growth through mentoring and performance management.
You will coordinate cross-departmental collaboration, oversee the quality of deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on time, contributing significantly to our technological innovation and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Successfully completed a degree in a natural sciences field or an equivalent qualificationExtensive experience in DevOps, CI/CD, virtualization, and IT system/server administrationProficiency in automating system installations, configurations, software deployment, and monitoringStrong knowledge of DevOps processes and experience in process optimizationExpertise in defining and implementing technical architecture standardsExperience with complex IT or simulation system architecture designProficiency with GitLab, Artifactory, Docker, Jenkins, Hyper-V, VMware, Windows, and Linux systemsKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, and monitoring tools like GrafanaSelf-motivated with excellent communication, conflict resolution, time management, and assertiveness skillsFluent in German and English, with willingness to undertake national and international travel
