Description

About Mindler Unfortunately most people suffer from mental health problems at some point in their lives. Mindler was founded in 2018 by two psychologists and one doctor with the vision to enable a world with better mental health. Since then, we have helped thousands of people to meet a therapist via our app, having more than 850 clinicians working for us across five countries. We are now known as the leading digital provider of mental health care, and we're on the look-out for a Cloud Platform Engineer to help build the cloud foundation behind mental-health care used by hundreds of thousands of people. What will I be doing? As Cloud Platform Engineer for our Tech team based in Sweden, you will play a pivotal role in simplifying and standardising how our services are deployed, patched, and scaled across multi-cloud environments. Reporting directly to the CTO, this role suits a pragmatic problem-solver who takes strong ownership, values simplicity, and balances hands-on improvement work with security and cost efficiency. Some of your responsibilities in this role will include: Writing, reviewing, and improving infrastructure-as-code (CDK or equivalent) and CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Azure, and GCP.Simplifying, standardising, and improving deployment pipelines to reduce friction and operational toil.Investigating cost drivers and implementing concrete cloud cost optimization (FinOps) savings, such as right-sizing, reserved capacity, and lifecycle policies.Hardening environments, cloud networking, IAM, secrets management, encryption, and logging to close security gaps.Responding to platform issues, improving reliability, and enhancing observability across metrics, logs, and tracing.Collaborating on design decisions, documenting the platform, and mentoring peers through code and architecture reviews.Partnering closely with security, compliance, and data-protection stakeholders (GDPR, ISO 27001), as well as finance on cloud forecasting. Who are you? +5 years of experience in cloud, platform, or DevOps engineering.Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).Hands-on production experience operating workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP, alongside a proven track record of building and running infrastructure-as-code.Strong background with infrastructure-as-code (CDK or equivalent), CI/CD automation, cloud networking, IAM, and scripting.A pragmatic, security- and cost-conscious mindset with the ability to navigate multi-cloud setups and untangle complex systems.Strong ownership, comfortable working with autonomy in a small team, and an interest in mentoring peers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Swedish language skills are a plus.Experience in healthcare/health-tech, regulated environments, container platforms (ECS/Kubernetes), or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are desirable. For this position, we offer flexible working, but you will need to be based in Sweden with the ability to work from our Stockholm base 2-3 times a week. What can we offer? If we're a good match for each other, you'll join an international and purpose-driven company where you'll have plenty of ownership and freedom to make an impact. You will work alongside a senior, low-ego team that trusts people to get on with their work, shaping how cloud platforms are used at Mindler in a company united by the ambition to make mental healthcare accessible across Europe. We are looking forward to hearing from you! —------ Mindler is an equal opportunity employer.
