We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a leading European financial institution in Brussels, Belgium.
Job Overview
The role supports the migration of different technical projects towards centralized IT solutions, including internal cloud environments, central file-exchange platforms and API gateway environments.
The DevOps Engineer will contribute to deployment automation, infrastructure automation and cloud migration, working across Linux, containers, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible and related infrastructure technologies.
The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with a solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Automate application and infrastructure deployments using Jenkins and Digital.ai.Build and maintain deployment automation for middleware, database and web products using Terraform.Support Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment/Delivery, Continuous Testing and process automation.Work with Linux, Shell scripting and Python to support infrastructure and operational automation.Work with infrastructure technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Ansible, Maven, Node.js, PostgreSQL and Redis.Support the migration of technical projects to centralized cloud and infrastructure solutions.Support file-exchange environments using Axway CFT and Axway SecureTransport.Collaborate with technical and project teams in Scrum environments, applying architecture standards and effective prioritization.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Must Have
4–5+ years of relevant experience in iOPS, DevOps or infrastructure engineering.Strong practical knowledge of production environments, covering hardware and software.Good technical knowledge of cloud, Java and container technologies.Practical understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Testing.Strong experience with Linux, Shell and Python.Experience with deployment and infrastructure automation.Knowledge of architecture rules and technical standards.Practical experience working with Scrum methodologies.Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Fluent English.Nice to Have
Experience with Axway CFT and Axway SecureTransport.Experience with Digital.ai and Jenkins.Hands-on experience with Ansible, Helm and Terraform.Experience with IBM / BNPP Cloud (dMZR).1–3 years of experience with IBM Cloud.Dutch or French in addition to English.Soft Skills
