Our private banking business uses Avaloq, a leading end-to-end wealth management and banking platform supporting client management, investments, trading, lending, payments, risk, compliance, and back-office operations. Primary accountability is to develop the most appropriate IT solutions in line with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement with responsibility to write the unit & integration tests performed by Test Engineers. What you’ll be doing: Own a product or service end-to-end, shaping and delivering the right IT solutions to meet customer needs across the customer journey. Ensure products and services remain compliant with all mandatory standards and regulatory requirements.Be responsible for ensuring group controls are maintained within the pod activities and remediation activities are resolved swiftly.Be accountable for the operational stability, integrity, and availability of the products and services the pod supports.Drive the performance of the pod activities and maintaining performance in line with benchmark objectives (inc productivity, quality and effectiveness measures).Partner with the Solution Architect to ensure solutions and services align to the right architectures and systems.Develop the most appropriate IT solutions in line with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement with responsibility to write the unit & integration tests performed by Test Engineers.Determine technical and business suitability of proposed requirements with architect, developers and other relevant team members and provide recommendations.Define and document solutions and changes producing comprehensive documents supported by structured analysis techniques and methodologies.Validate proposed solutions with business representatives and technical team to ensure solutions and restrictions are clearly understood. You’re a great candidate if you have these: Strong Avaloq Development Background.Strong understanding of Private Banking Domain/Investment Banking/Capital Markets.Hands-on experience working with Avaloq (or comparable core banking / investment banking platforms).Strong scripting capability, including PL/SQL.Ability to understand user requirements and provide solutions using Avaloq Parameterization along with Unix and shell scripts, Control-M.Strong analysis, solution design, coding, debugging and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Experience across the delivery lifecycle: development, testing, handling change requests and supporting release execution. Comfortable working in Agile and DevOps ways of working.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including stakeholder-facing presentations when needed.A growth mindset: proactive in learning new tools and technologies and adapting quickly to change. What you’ll get with us: The pay range for this role is 22 000 PLN - 26 000 PLN (monthly, gross).
