Full Stack Software Engineer

Animaj leads the global media industry by creating and delivering premium 3D animation to families worldwide. Traditional animation, rooted in outdated processes since the early ‘90s, lags behind the fast-paced demands of today’s digital economy. Our innovation addresses the time-intensive nature of traditional animation, where each second can take hours or a week to produce. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full stack developer to join our dynamic Engineering team. You’ll be instrumental in pioneering AI solutions that will be implemented in our internal workflows. You will report to the CTO and will be part of an ambitious team pushing the boundaries of the Kids’ animation industry through innovation in generative AI applications. Our Values at Animaj Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain the data pipelines feeding our Audience Intelligence Platform, used to detect and model trends in the kids’ media ecosystem on YouTube and to inform creative and editorial decisions Design, develop and maintain our YouTube publishing automation application, used to scale publishing of our videos to our hundreds of YouTube channels Design, develop and maintain our custom media asset management system, and all its related pipelines and automations Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer in fast-paced and technically demanding environment Outstanding problem solving skills Hacker mindset (test often, ship often, be pragmatic), not afraid to dig into new areas that you’re not familiar with Experience with LLMs and agentic workflows is a plus Excellent API design skills Interest for application and cloud security best practices Our tech stack Node.js / Typescript Python/Flask PostGreSQL / MongoDB Prefect GitHub Actions AWS Minimum 4 years of experience as a software engineer in fast-paced and technically demanding environment Outstanding problem-solving skills Hacker mindset (test often, ship often, be pragmatic), not afraid to dig into new areas that you’re not familiar with Experience in data-heavy environments is a plus Excellent API design skills Sensible for application and cloud security best practices Screening Recruiter - 30 min First call with Antoine (our CTO) - 45 min Technical homework Focus interview - 1h30 Final interview with our CEO - 45 min
