Role Description The Senior DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure to support InvoiceQ’s regional e-invoicing platform. Daily activities include managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring infrastructure reliability and resilience. The role also involves administering servers, containers, and cloud services, implementing security best practices, and collaborating with engineering teams to automate deployments and operations. The engineer will troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, contribute to architectural decisions, and help improve observability, incident response, and disaster recovery processes. Job Specifications: -DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. -Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repositories, YAML, Releases). -Microsoft Azure cloud services. -Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). -Kubernetes (AKS preferred). -Docker and containerization. -Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. -Linux system administration. -Windows Server administration. -Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory). -Microsoft Intune. -Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Cloud, Identity, or related security solutions). -Microsoft 365 administration. -Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers). -Cloud security best practices, IAM, RBAC, and Key Vault/Secrets Management. -Monitoring and logging solutions. -Scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python. -Experience with SQL Server and basic database administration. Preferred Qualifications: -5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering. -Experience managing production cloud environments. -Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure & OCI). -Relevant Microsoft Azure and OCI certifications are considered a strong advantage. -Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
