Description

We're partnering with a fast-growing eCommerce business that's investing heavily in its in-house technology team. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative environment where you'll have genuine ownership, work across a variety of exciting projects and build solutions that have a direct impact on both the customer experience and the continued growth of the business. What you'll be doing; Building and maintaining customer-facing websites and eCommerce experiencesDeveloping frontend features and functionality using modern JavaScript technologiesWorking across backend systems, APIs, integrations and internal toolsSupporting and improving the performance, usability and reliability of existing platformsCollaborating with the wider development team to design and deliver high-quality solutionsWriting clean, maintainable code and helping shape how the technology function develops What you'll bring; Strong commercial experience as a Web Developer, Software Developer or similarConfidence working with JavaScript/TypeScript across frontend and backend developmentExperience with technologies such as React, Node.js and modern web development frameworksExperience building and maintaining APIs and working with third-party integrationsA good understanding of Git and modern development practicesAn interest in solving a broad range of technical problems rather than specialising in one area Experience with Shopify, Liquid, SQL, Python, Go, Docker, CI/CD or mobile development would all be advantageous, but we're open to developers with different technical backgrounds.
