Software Engineer / Technical Lead

Role Summary We are a telecommunications technology company developing critical components of the 5G Core network, including the Session Management Function (SMF). Our solutions are deployed in live networks by major European and global mobile operators, forming part of the infrastructure that billions of people and devices rely on every day. We are looking for a technically experienced developer or tester who wants to go beyond individual contribution and gradually grow into coordination, planning, and people management responsibilities—while staying close to real, production-grade technology. Key Responsibilities What You Will Work On Development and evolution of 5G Core SMF software used in commercial networksEngineering solutions that must meet carrier‑grade requirements: reliability, scalability, performance, and securityCollaboration with teams whose work directly impacts mobile connectivity, IoT, and critical communication services worldwideGradual transition from purely technical tasks toward delivery coordination and team support activities Technical & Product Responsibilities Contribute to development or testing of 5G Core (SMF) functionalityParticipate in design discussions, defect analysis, and technical decision‑makingSupport planning of features, releases, and technical improvementsWork closely with architects, system engineers, and DevOps teams Coordination & People‑Management Growth Support day‑to‑day coordination of engineering activities within the teamHelp balance priorities, dependencies, and delivery commitmentsFacilitate communication between technical roles and stakeholdersSupport onboarding, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of team membersGradually take on people‑management responsibilities (guidance, feedback, performance and salary management), with structured support and mentoring provided by your mentor and buddy.
