If you are on a visa, please don’t apply as your application will not be considered*** 🎯 About the Role The Senior Analyst Programmer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining technology solutions for the various work streams. This is a hands-on role requiring strong development skills in both .NET Windows and Web development. The role will actively participate and contribute to the software development lifecycle within, deliver high-quality software projects within estimated time frames, produce and maintain design specifications and technical architecture documentation, provide technical support to various areas of the business, troubleshoot and diagnose system issues, and research and recommend industry best practices and tools. πŸ”§ Key Responsibilities Participate in and manage the design and development of system changes and new systems to support the business.Plan, design and deliver quality solutions to improve OUR CLIENT applications.Produce software requirements specifications, technical architecture, and web service/API interface documentation for system changes.Ensure all development is documented and coded according to development standards.Plan, write and execute unit tests with high levels of code coverage.Provide educated estimates on change requests and project design and development work.Ensure requirements around solution availability, stability and functionality are sufficiently supported.Successfully deliver requirements to Test and Production with minimal post-implementation issues.Ensure post-implementation bugs are fixed in a timely and expedient manner.Perform performance tuning of applications and databases on .NET and SQL Server platforms.Research, recommend and advise on technology solutions and developing market trends in IT, particularly development platforms.Create deployment plans and assist in implementation planning.Participate in and guide the business in the analysis of business requirements and the derivation of potential IT solutions.Review Business Requirement Specifications and evaluate the impact of development on existing applications, interfaces and processes.Review internal test strategies and ensure all system components are tested with the appropriate depth of testing, including SIT and UAT.Review and accept vendor test strategies, plans and results.Review plans and schedules, risks and issues registers, and raise conflicts or issues with the program team.Provide regular updates to the team to ensure manageability of impacts from projects and programs on release schedules, production schedules and change management activities.Write, check, monitor and track sign-off of documents including Business Cases, Project Scopes, Technical and Functional Specifications, Solution Designs, Test Methodology Plans and Cases, and Project Plans where required.Assist in the delivery of transition plans as part of project implementation.Understand the needs and drivers of relevant business stakeholders and establish sound working relationships with them.Participate in post-implementation reviews of projects.Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for all web-related matters, as required.Represent the interests of IS. πŸ› οΈ Skills & Experience Essential Degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline/industry experience.MUST: onion architecture + CQRS pattern.NET (4.x, Core) development experience incorporating ASP.NET, C#.NET, ADO.NET, XML, Web Services (SOAP), MVC, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, WebApi, EF and Azure Functions.If you have AWS experience and happy to transition to Azure, happy to consider as wellThorough understanding of SQL with SQL Server (2014+), including T-SQL and Stored Procedures development experience.Unit testing and IOC & TDD (Test Driven Development)WinForms a MUSTInfragistics controls.Azure DevOps.Azure Cloud platform.
