Description

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Delivery Engineer with deep expertise in Terraform and Ansible to automate, provision, and deliver infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. This role is central to enabling fast, reliable, and repeatable cloud delivery across engineering teams, with a strong focus on infrastructure-as-code and configuration management excellence. Job Description - Grade Specific Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain Terraform modules for GCP infrastructure including GKE, Cloud SQL, Networking, IAM, and GCS Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, application deployment, and operational automation Own the end-to-end cloud delivery pipeline: provisioning, configuration, testing, and deployment to production Integrate Terraform and Ansible workflows into CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI Implement GCP IAM policies as code, enforcing least-privilege access and separation of duties across environments Manage Terraform state backends using GCS and enforce module versioning and registry standards Perform infrastructure drift detection and remediation using Ansible and Terraform plan workflows Build reusable, well-documented Terraform modules and Ansible collections for use across delivery teams Collaborate with security teams to embed compliance controls into infrastructure pipelines Support GKE cluster provisioning and day-2 operations using Terraform and Helm Participate in architecture reviews and provide IaC recommendations for new GCP workloads Contribute to internal developer platform tooling for self-service cloud provisioning Requirements Required Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong IaC focus Expert-level Terraform skills including module development, remote state, workspaces, and provider management Strong Ansible experience including roles, inventories, dynamic inventories, and Ansible Vault Solid GCP knowledge covering core services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud SQL Experience managing GCP IAM programmatically using Terraform Familiarity with GitOps and CI/CD integration for infrastructure pipelines Understanding of GCP networking: VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, Cloud NAT, and DNS Experience with Linux systems administration and shell scripting Preferred Qualifications: Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification Experience with Packer for VM image automation Familiarity with GCP-native development and serverless services (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions) Experience with Vertex AI infrastructure provisioning using Terraform Knowledge of policy-as-code tools such as OPA, Sentinel, or Checkov
