NodeJS / Java Developer
We are seeking an experienced software developer to design, develop, and support scalable web-based and middle-layer services.
The role requires strong Java and Node.js/TypeScript development skills, solid API and service-oriented architecture experience, and the ability to collaborate across technology and business teams.
What You'll Do in the Role
Effectively work with PMO, Development, Product Management, Business and Technical Operations, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, Networks, and Architecture teams.Design and develop middle-layer services using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and/or C#/.NET.Draft and review architectural diagrams, specifications, business requirements, and other design documents.Work with the existing technology stack, including Java, C++, Linux, Unix, open-source platforms, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), as well as new technologies for next-generation solutions.Develop a robust understanding of financial products, services, processes, and organizational structure to identify optimal solutions.Mentor other software developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
What You'll Bring to the Role
At least 7+ years of software development experience.Proficiency in software development principles, including design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration, and deployments.Hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, TypeScript, Node.js, Kafka, and ActiveMQ.Experience with Java server technologies such as J2EE and Servlets.Experience with Tomcat, Maven, and other tools used for Java development.Hands-on API/Web Services development experience using REST, SOAP, and JSON.Proficiency with at least one relational database such as Oracle, DB2, or Sybase.Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development methodologies.Good understanding of Web Services protocols, API design, extensibility, and portability.Goot to have working experience in Mobile development.
