Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Computer Vision Engineer. The Computer Vision Engineer will design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms and models for real-world applications, including object detection, tracking, and pattern recognition. Day-to-day responsibilities include experimenting with various architectures, training and evaluating models, and integrating solutions into production systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role also involves data preprocessing, annotation oversight, performance analysis, and continuous improvement of deployed models. The Computer Vision Engineer will document technical work clearly, participate in code reviews, and stay current with advances in computer vision and related fields. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, with experience building and deploying vision-based solutions.Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering best practices.Candidates should possess knowledge in Data Science, including data preprocessing, model evaluation, and working with large datasets.Candidates should possess familiarity with Robotics or related systems where computer vision is applied to perception and control.Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI and vision (such as Python or C++), and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow).Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with cloud-based development environments, version control (e.g., Git), and collaborative remote work practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse, distributed teams.
