DevOps Engineer – Release Management Location: Toronto, ON (2–3 days hybrid) Contract: Long Term About the Role We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in release management, build automation, CI/CD, and configuration management. The role will focus on coordinating, managing, and ensuring the smooth deployment of software applications and updates across development, testing, and production environments. Key Responsibilities Release Management: Plan, schedule, and manage software releases across development, testing, and production environments.Ensure all releases are properly documented, including release notes and deployment instructions.Create and manage RFCs (Change Requests).Complete lower-region and production deployment activities.Build Management: Design, implement, and maintain build processes and automation scripts.Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines.Configuration Management: Maintain version control and configuration management systems.Ensure consistency across environments by managing configuration files and settings.Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to ensure releases meet quality standards.Implement and monitor automated tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline.Collaboration: Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely releases.Act as a liaison between teams to resolve issues and improve release processes.
