Full Stack / Python Developer - Build the Engine Behind a Fintech Product

We have a working prototype. Now we need someone to turn it into a real product. PulseTheta is a Germany-based fintech company building analytics and backtesting software for systematic, rules-based strategies in the stock and options markets. The prototype works — it just wasn't built to last. That's where you come in. You'd be one of our first hires, working directly with the founder. No layers, no ticket queue, no waiting three weeks for a decision. You build something, it ships, it gets used. What the job actually is You'll own the backend. Python services and data pipelines, automated jobs that have to run correctly every single day, databases that need to be modelled properly rather than grown by accident, external data APIs that lie to you occasionally and need to be caught doing it. You'll also work on the dashboard — React and TypeScript, data-heavy tables and charts. Not pixel-pushing, but the interface where all that backend work becomes visible and useful.
