In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our innovative platform that revolutionizes the used car buying experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions, ensuring our technology stack remains cutting-edge. Qualifications B.S. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.4+ years of relevant industry experience in software development.Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Typescript, Python, Go, Ruby, C#, or Rust.Strong understanding of frontend and/or backend frameworks, including React, Vue, Express, Flask, Ruby on Rails, or similar technologies.Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, including writing efficient SQL queries, designing schemas, and optimizing performance.Proven ability to optimize application performance and resolve bottlenecks effectively.Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.Experience working within Agile development environments, utilizing tools like Jira or Github Projects, and following Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Responsibilities Write clean, readable, and testable code that adheres to best practices, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability of our platform.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that improve user experience.Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient system architectures aligned with company goals.Lead projects from conception through deployment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.Participate in peer code reviews, contribute to system design discussions, and help establish development standards and best practices.Take ownership of complex technical challenges, balancing business needs with technical constraints to deliver sustainable solutions.Stay updated on emerging technologies, evaluate new tools and frameworks, and contribute to reducing technical debt while enhancing system performance.Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
