Description We are looking for a Senior Data and DevOps Engineer to build and maintain our data platforms and contribute to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. You will work with advanced data technologies such as Databricks and contribute to the development of scalable data solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work with enterprise-level data platforms, implement innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement across our data infrastructure. You will build, deploy, and maintain data platforms such as Databricks, develop and manage data pipelines, and ensure high availability of services. You will implement CI/CD processes for data workflows and automate data consumption processes to enable efficient data collection and distribution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions while adhering to security and compliance standards. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking to support our organization’s digital transformation initiatives. Requirements Advanced degree plus 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management and operationsPreferred fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldIndustry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, NetApp, VMware) preferredStrong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware)Expertise in Windows and/or Linux server administration and configurationProficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting)Experience with storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planningUnderstanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practicesKnowledge of ITIL processes and IT service managementStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience with monitoring tools and performance optimizationExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to participate in rotational coverage as requiredExperience with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Strong documentation and process improvement skillsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExperience working in regulated environments (GxP, SOX) preferred
