Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering) 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering leadership, or infrastructure roles. Proven experience delivering and operating Azure environments. Experience designing, implementing and delivering large scale Azure platforms Experience building foundational cloud platform capabilities, engineering enablement tooling, or shared services for internal development teams. Experience driving large projects, where you have demonstrated leadership skills, partnering with technology teams and leaders, building horizontal capabilities across the enterprise. This is a senior, hands-on engineering position for an individual contributor who thrives in designing, building, automating, and operating cloud platforms used by multiple engineering teams. As a technical subject matter expert, you will help drive large-scale cloud initiatives while partnering closely with engineering, security, risk, and architecture teams. The successful candidate will bring deep platform engineering expertise, strong Infrastructure-as-Code and automation skills, and experience building shared cloud services that support large, complex organizations. The role will play a key part in accelerating Azure adoption while ensuring security, scalability, governance, and operational excellence across the platform. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and operate enterprise-scale Azure platform services and cloud infrastructure. Develop and maintain shared platform capabilities that support multiple technology teams across the organization. Build reusable cloud components, deployment patterns, and self-service capabilities to accelerate Azure adoption. Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and modern cloud automation frameworks. Develop automation, tooling, and operational solutions using Python. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps capabilities that improve platform consistency, efficiency, and reliability. Implement Azure landing zones, networking, identity, governance, and security controls. Partner with engineering teams to establish standardized platform patterns and cloud best practices. Design solutions with scalability, resiliency, observability, governance, and operational excellence in mind. Collaborate with security, risk, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and regulatory requirements. Lead complex technical initiatives and influence platform strategy across multiple teams and stakeholders. *We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position. *Pay range for this role is between $175k/yr - 190k/yr CAD. *This role is an existing vacancy.
