What You’ll Do As our Senior Engineer Infrastructure Automation, you will: Truly be instrumental in realizing the multi-year Infrastructure Automation roadmap & DevSecOps strategyInvestigate and incubate infrastructure automation opportunitiesOwn delivery of infrastructure automation featuresDevelop, test and deploy configurations in multiple environments using automated pipelinesWork in agile teams, engage in ceremonies, create and update documentationWrite quality code to get stuff done, deliver features at speedDevelop, maintain and support system standards through configuration management, automation templates and scripting, and version control What You’ll Bring As our Senior Engineer in Infrastructure Automation, you will possess: 7+ years of hands-on IT Infrastructure experience with at least 3-4 years in the followingAnsible, Terraform and CloudFormationDevOps & Agile methodologiesDemonstrate professional competence in the principles and practices of Cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google)Hand-on experience with Python and manipulating JSONExpertise in implementing a Jenkins based CI/CD pipelineHands-on expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS etc.)Bash shell scripting skills & ability to find your way around in LinuxKnowledge of Windows OS and Active Directory conceptsFamiliarity with networking, VMWare, StorageFamiliarity with cloud networking and security (VPCs, security groups. )Familiarity with cloud identity management such as IAM.Understanding of Cloud technologies (network, compute, storage) and service delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)Ability to produce high-quality technical documentationPositive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality workLearning mindset - quickly grasp, develop & integrate various technologies via codeExcellent flowcharting skills – document as-is/to-be process flowsAbility to document a problem, collect data to support and alternatives to solveBe opinionated, but also flexible when presented with new evidence or dataStay current with the latest cloud and configuration management technologies Comfortable working in an open-source settingA passion for helping protect users' privacy and securityWritten and verbal communication skills in EnglishProven record of getting things done What Will Set You Apart Active Git-Hub profile & contributionsContributions to Ansible Galaxy Our Competencies for All Employees Courage: Doesn’t hold back anything that needs to be said; provides current, direct, complete, and “actionable” positive and corrective feedback to others; lets people know where they stand; faces up to people problems on any person or situation (not including direct reports) quickly and directly; is not afraid to take negative action when necessary.
