The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Front-End Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing features, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across devices, and collaborating closely with designers and back-end developers to deliver seamless digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using modern front-end technologiesTranslate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality codeOptimise applications for maximum speed and scalabilityEnsure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsivenessCollaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and servicesMaintain code quality through testing, debugging, and code reviewsStay up to date with emerging front-end trends, tools, and best practices
Key Skills/Experience
You need to be technically sound but also be able to convey your knowledge and expertise to clients internally and externally.
In terms of specific languages you should have commercial experience in some or all of the following;
Substantial experience as a hands- on Front End DeveloperApplied knowledge of front end frameworks (Angular, React, other similar)Knowledge of selected front end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)Ability to communicate your design, both verbally and in written formExperience of working with cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS, GCP is beneficial)Ability to work with senior stakeholders and detailed technical specialistsExperience in unit testing frameworks (Karma, Jasmine or others) and exposure to TDD is beneficialAnalytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
