A leading investment management firm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be the dedicated owner of a trade analytics platform. The platform provides live fund and strategy performance analysis and is used daily by senior management, investment teams, finance, and operations. You will work directly with stakeholders — investment, finance, and operations teams — to gather requirements, design solutions, and own them end-to-end. There is no business analyst layer between you and the users. This is a backend-first role focused on C# and event-driven, cloud-distributed systems, with comfort in Angular or React preferred. You will design and evolve systems that genuinely matter to the business, own a domain rather than a ticket queue, and shape technical direction. The role requires gathering requirements directly from stakeholders, designing solutions, and taking full ownership of delivery.

Highlights

Dedicated ownership of a critical platform used daily by senior management, investment teams, finance, and operations. No BA layer — direct work with stakeholders, end-to-end ownership. Backend-first role with opportunities to work on modern event-driven and cloud-distributed systems. Industry-leading compensation.
