For our Xara Cloud Client Development Team, we are looking for an experienced developer who takes technical ownership, actively contributes to the codebase, and helps shape the future of our platform. Your responsibilities Developing modern frontend applications for current web browsers and mobile devicesWorking with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, HTML5 and CSSProviding technical guidance within the Xara Cloud Client Development TeamIntegrating LLM providers and working with system messages, tools, RAG and MCPAdvising the team on best practices for using LLMs within the development lifecycleWriting reliable, fast, testable and maintainable codeReviewing code with a focus on syntax, architecture and technical qualityHelping define the technical direction at the start of new projectsManaging changing requirements while keeping technical debt under controlWorking closely with an international, distributed development team Your profile Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScriptSeveral years of relevant experience in frontend developmentSolid experience with React, HTML5, CSS and Node.jsExperience with LLMs and the integration of LLM providersUnderstanding of RAG, MCP, system messages and tools in an LLM contextInterest in the underlying concepts of LLMs, such as temperature, embeddings, neural networks or self-attentionA strong eye for code quality, architecture and technical designAbility to explain complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiencesEnjoyment of teamwork as well as solving problems independentlyA degree in IT, computer science, natural sciences or a comparable qualification Additional experience in the following areas is a plus: Material UI, Figma, Git, Kubernetes or AWSOpenAI API or comparable interfacesGraphics, document or photo applicationsGraphical data formatsTechnical team leadership What we offer A role with technical responsibility in the Xara Cloud Client Development TeamWork on a browser-based document automation platform with LLM capabilitiesAn international, remote-first working environmentThe option to work remotely or from our Berlin officeFull-time employment, permanent position or contract by agreementSalary range: EUR 50,000 to EUR 80,000 gross per year, depending on relevant experience and qualificationsA modern tech stack with TypeScript, React, Node.js, LLMs, Git, Kubernetes and AWSRoom to shape architecture, technical direction and development processesCollaboration with experienced developers in a distributed team Become part of our journey At Xara, people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives work together.
