IT Support Engineer – Linux & Cloud Infrastructure Location: Fort Washington, PA Work Schedule: Onsite 4 days per week Employment Type: Direct Hire Salary: Up to $120k, flexibility depending on experience We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a growing technology organization in Fort Washington, PA. This is a customer-facing infrastructure position supporting complex Linux, cloud, and containerized environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and manage issues through resolution. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux infrastructure and application issuesSupport cloud-based and containerized environmentsWork directly with customers to investigate technical problems and deliver solutionsAssist with system deployments, upgrades, configuration, and ongoing maintenanceAutomate infrastructure and operational processesCollaborate with engineering, implementation, and customer-support teamsDocument technical issues, solutions, and best practicesRequired Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or technical supportStrong hands-on Linux administration experienceExperience supporting cloud architecture and cloud-hosted environmentsExperience with Kubernetes and containerized applicationsWorking knowledge of Git, Ansible, and JenkinsExperience with Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar infrastructure-as-code toolsStrong troubleshooting and client-facing communication skillsAbility to work onsite in Fort Washington four days per weekU.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the client’s work This is an excellent opportunity for an infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working directly with customers, and supporting modern Linux and cloud environments.
