About The Role We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Client’s Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, automate, and support secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud platforms that power mission-critical applications. It is the global standard in identity verification, providing businesses worldwide the ability to link any digital transaction to the human behind it. Their Identity Engine, the first and only of its kind, uses complex machine learning to combine features derived from the billions of transactions within our proprietary network and the data from our graph to deliver industry-leading risk assessment solutions. This is a Terraform-first engineering role where Infrastructure as Code is the standard for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure. You will build reusable infrastructure modules, automate deployments, and support modern cloud-native platforms using Amazon EKS and AWS services. Responsibilities Design, build, and support secure, highly available AWS cloud infrastructure for production and development environmentsDesign, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform as the primary provisioning toolBuild reusable Terraform modules and enforce Infrastructure as Code best practices across cloud platformsBuild, operate, and optimize Amazon EKS Kubernetes platforms supporting containerized applicationsBuild and maintain hardened Amazon Linux and Ubuntu machine images using HashiCorp PackerAutomate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks using GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and CI/CD pipelinesImplement AWS security best practices, including IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, patching, and vulnerability remediationMonitor platform health, availability, and performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and GrafanaTroubleshoot complex AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and infrastructure issues while participating in an on-call rotationDevelop automation and tooling using Python, Go, or Bash to improve operational efficiencyLeverage AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Amazon Q Developer to accelerate infrastructure development and automationCollaborate with Engineering, Security, and Platform teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutionsCreate and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, Terraform standards, and operational runbooks Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying AWS infrastructure using TerraformDemonstrated experience developing reusable Terraform modules and managing Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments5+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Strong experience building and operating Amazon EKS or Kubernetes platformsStrong experience administering Amazon Linux and Ubuntu LinuxExperience building machine images using HashiCorp PackerExperience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platformsStrong understanding of AWS networking, IAM, VPCs, load balancing, Route 53, storage, and security best practicesExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and GrafanaProgramming or scripting experience using Python, Go, or BashExcellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills Desirable Experience with Databricks administration is a plusMonitoring: Experience with Prometheus and Grafana is highly desirableLogging: Experience with Athena is preferred; Splunk experience is a minor plusKubernetes: Experience with Amazon EKS is ideal, though general Kubernetes knowledge remains a strong base What’s in it for you?
