They are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their growing team in Malta. About The Role Based in Malta, the Data Engineer is accountable for: Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines and platformsEnable analytics, reporting, and decision-making by ensuring data is accessible, structured, and trusted across the businessSupport regulatory compliance, responsible gambling insights, and governance through robust data controls and architecturePartner with cross-functional teams to evolve data capabilities in a fast-growing, startup-style environment About You You are a hands-on and technically strong Data Engineer with experience building and maintaining scalable data platforms in complex digital environments. You take pride in designing reliable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and enabling teams to confidently use data to drive decisions. You’re comfortable balancing immediate delivery with long-term architecture, working in environments where data capability is still evolving. You are pragmatic, collaborative, and thrive in cross-functional teams, partnering closely with product, engineering, and analytics stakeholders. You bring experience working with cloud-based data platforms, strong SQL and programming skills, and a solid understanding of governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
