Full Stack Engineer

About the Role L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, deploy, assess, and troubleshoot secure software applications. This role involves full software development lifecycle ownership, including requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, and documentation. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will work with globally distributed, cross-functional Agile teams and contribute to challenging cybersecurity research and software engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack development expertise with technical problem-solving, software architecture, and the ability to deliver high-quality software under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and documentation. Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and maintainable software using C#/.NET, Python, and Angular. Design and implement distributed server-side solutions and web user interfaces. Architect, build, and optimize backend services and APIs. Develop robust interfaces for API interactions, SDKs, and client-facing features. Develop and maintain Angular web user interfaces with a focus on usability, performance, and security. Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data migration. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues across the technology stack. Develop and maintain unit, integration, and system-level tests. Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous integration and delivery processes. Collaborate with globally distributed, cross-functional Agile teams, product managers, stakeholders, and other team members. Conduct self-directed research to innovate and implement new product features. Stay current with software development trends, industry best practices, and cybersecurity protocols. Contribute to development processes, engineering best practices, and team knowledge. Document technical solutions and prepare end-user manuals as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of prior relevant experience. OR a graduate degree and 4+ years of prior related experience. OR 10+ years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree. Ability and eligibility to obtain and maintain a National Security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with a comprehensive project portfolio. Proficiency in C#/.NET and cross-platform development across Linux, Windows, and MacOS. Experience with PostgreSQL and relational databases. Familiarity with Python. Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, particularly Angular or similar frameworks. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. Experience with large distributed system architecture. Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing. Experience with API design and development. Experience with performance and memory analysis tools. Experience with Source Control and CI/CD systems. Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban. Exposure to DevOps practices and toolchains. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices. Experience with event-driven frameworks such as gRPC or SignalR. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of mobile application development for Android or iOS. Ability to read and understand lower-level code in C or C++. Experience working in distributed, secure, or high-availability system environments. Experience with inter-process communication technologies such as TCP, SSL, or RabbitMQ. Background or strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
