Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Android Developer (Kotlin) role based in Kathmandu.
The Junior Android Developer will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin, following best practices and modern Android architecture patterns.
Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with senior developers and designers, implementing UI components aligned with Android design guidelines, integrating APIs and backend services, and performing code reviews and testing.
The role also involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing app performance, and contributing to documentation and continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mobile Application Development and experience working with Mobile Applications on Android platforms.Understanding of Android Design principles, Material Design guidelines, and creating intuitive user interfaces.Hands-on experience with Android Development using Kotlin, Android Studio, and related tools.Knowledge of general Software Development practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, and debugging.Basic familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.Ability to collaborate in a team environment, communicate clearly, and follow agile or iterative development workflows.Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Eagerness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and grow within a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
