Backend Java Developer

Assignment Overview We are seeking an experienced Backend Java Developer to support the integration and modernization of business-critical legacy systems. The consultant will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and integrations between legacy platforms and modern applications. The role involves close collaboration with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional development teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions that support ongoing digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions using Java.Build and enhance integrations between legacy systems and modern platforms.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services.Implement message-driven and event-based integration patterns.Participate in solution design, technical analysis, and architecture discussions.Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing integrations and backend services.Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices.
