DevOps Tech Lead (AWS + ArcGIS Enterprise)

About The Role In this role, you will lead the infrastructure behind a large-scale ArcGIS Enterprise platform running on AWS from Kubernetes-based deployments to CI/CD, observability, and disaster recovery. You will set the technical standards the team builds on, work directly with architects and client stakeholders, and own how reliably the platform runs in production. Responsibilities Lead the implementation, modernization, and day-to-day operation of AWS infrastructure supporting an ArcGIS Enterprise platformOwn platform reliability, performance, and availability, driving improvements through automation, monitoring, and incident managementCollaborate with architects, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to keep the platform scalable, secure, and maintainableDeploy, configure, upgrade, and tune ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including deployments on Kubernetes, across development, testing, and productionDesign Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines with Terraform or CloudFormation, replacing repetitive operational work with automationPerform root cause analysis on production issues across application, infrastructure, and integration layersImplement backup, recovery, high-availability, and disaster-recovery procedures in line with security and governance requirementsDefine technical standards, and maintain operational documentation Requirements Hands-on experience operating ArcGIS Enterprise in production - deployment, configuration, administration, upgrades, patching, and migrations, including on KubernetesPractical knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise security, networking, storage, integrations, and performance tuningStrong hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure operations, including migration and modernization projectsSolid background in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and Kubernetes environments, using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar toolsWorking knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tooling, with confident production troubleshootingExperience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and working with client stakeholdersComfortable working proficiency in English (upper-intermediate or higher) within a multicultural environment SoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
