Description

Adaptive TechSoft (ATS) is hiring a DevOps Engineer with 2–3 years of experience. You will work closely with our development team to build a modern delivery platform — automated, containerised and observable — and help shape the engineering practices that go with it. What you'll work on • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for a large multi-module Maven codebase across development, QA, staging and production • Automating our release process — repeatable, rollback-capable, and workable for client sites reachable only over VPN • Containerising our applications and helping shape our orchestration approach • Setting up metrics, centralised logging and alerting that reflect genuine service health • Supporting zero-downtime schema migrations with Flyway — Oracle today, with additional database vendors expected • Moving secrets out of configuration files and keeping certificates tracked and renewed • Contributing to our migration to Java 17 and Spring Boot 3 What we're looking for • Solid Linux fundamentals — systemd, journald, storage and permissions, cron, package management • Practical experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred; GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins are equally relevant) • Familiarity with running JVM applications in production: heap sizing against container limits, GC behaviour, and reading thread or heap dumps • Docker in practice — multi-stage builds, lean JVM images, image tagging and promotion • Bash, plus Python or Groovy for automation • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases • Professional proficiency in Arabic and English Nice to have Kubernetes with Helm or Kustomize · GitOps with ArgoCD · Terraform or Ansible · Vault, External Secrets or Sealed Secrets · Prometheus and Grafana, ELK or Loki · Nexus or Artifactory · experience deploying into customer-controlled environments
